- I stayed up all night long.　※「徹夜」はwhole nightだけどall nightは必ずしも徹夜ではなく、「夜とっても遅くまで」というニュアンスだという説明だった
vanish in thin air／どこかに忽然と消えちゃった
- Where's the dog? He vanished into thin air.　
- My cell phone always vanish in thin air!
be in hot water／苦境に陥る　
- Bob's in hot water with his boss because he's always late.
なわとび／skipping rope
法事／memorial service
（子供が）行儀よくしない、騒ぐ／act up　
- Students act up.
酔っぱらいの度合い／hammered > drunk > buzzing > tipsy > sober
credit card=plastic　
- Do they take plastic? (=can you pay using a credit card?)　
- I'll stick it on the plastic. (=pay for it using a credit card)
