週半ばから体調が悪くてこの日も究極に具合が悪かったせいもあり、かなり会話についていけなかった。
- basement/地下室
- depreciate/(価値・価格などが)下がる
- lava→molten liquid→molten rock ※moltenはmeltの過去分詞「溶かされた・溶解した」
- shallow/見かけやお金など、相手の表面的なものにこだわりを持っている *he is shallow.
- synonym(スィナニム)/同意語 ※意味はわかってたけど、いつも発音がわからない語だった。反意語は"antonym"
- adjust(アジャスト)※「d」は読まない。いつも発音で迷う
- know something cold/〜をよく知る、〜に精通する(08/4/19)

- aggravation(アグラヴェイション)(=annoyance)(ア(ン)ノイエンス)
- Morgan's aggravation grew as her brother continued to tease her. (tease=からかう;make fun of)
- The mosquito buzzing in her ear was an annoyance.
