Condition?

（条件？）
　フジテレビドラマ「不毛地帯」より。イランの石油開発に取り組む近畿商事・兵藤は、キーマンとなるイラン国王の主治医と会うために奔走する。やっと手に入れた「会ってもいい」という返事。ただ、それには条件があるという。「条件？」と聞き返した兵藤のセリフ。

• conditionには「必要条件、協定上の条件」という意味がある。（something that you must agree to in order for something to happen, especially when this is included in a contract）
