• 名詞のgoにはtryの意味がある。（an attempt to do something）
  • "I can't open this drawer."---"Here. let me have a go."
  • On the tour, everyone can have a go at making a pot.
  • I'd thought about it for some time and decided to give it a go (=try to do something).
  • I had a good go (=tried hard) at cleaning the silver.
  • Ruby blew out all her candles at one go.
  • I'm not sure it will work but it's worth a go.
