• "narrow something down""narrow down something"＝「〜の範囲を限定する、しぼりこむ」（to reduce the number of things included in a range／to reduce a list of possibilities from many to a selected few）という意味。narrow something down to〜というように、うしろにtoをつけて、「（to以下に）しぼりこむ」という言い方もできる。
  • The police have narrowed down their list of suspects.
  • I've narrowed it down to one of two people.
  • We can narrow the choice down to green or red.
  • We narrowed down the choice to you or Paul.
  • The choices have been narrowed down to two.
