BBCドラマ「シャーロック」エピソード1 "A Study in Pink" より(※ネタバレあり)。連続殺人犯を撃ち殺した人物についての推理をレストラードに伝えるホームズ。しかしその途中で、それがワトスンであることに気付き、「今言ったことは忘れてくれ」とその場を後にしようとする。食い下がるレストラードに、これ以上僕に何をしろっていうんだい?というニュアンスで。
- "more or less" が慣用表現で「事実上/ほぼ」(almost/not completely but to a great degree )という意味に。実際は殺人犯は殺されてしまい、「捕まえた」わけではないのでこういう言い方になっているのだろう。
