What time do you get off?
たくさん意味がある "get off" には、「一日の仕事を終えて職場を出る」(to finish work and leave the place where you work at the end of the day/to leave work with permission, usually at the end of the day)という意味もある。"get off work" と言うことも。
- I usually get off at six o'clock.
- What time do you get off work?
- I get off early on Fridays.
- I got off work early last Thursday so I could see the parade.
- Could you get off work early tomorrow?
- How early can you get off this afternoon?
("somebody is done (with something)"=someone has finished doing or using something)
- I'll be done in a minute.
- I'm already done.
- As soon as I'm done, I'll give you a call.
- Are you done with this magazine?
- I'll be glad when the exams are over and done with.
- I'll be glad when this job is over and done with.
- One more question and we're done.
- My work is never done.
- I'm almost done reading this book.
- Turn out the light when you're done.
- Are you done with the scissors?
- When will you be done with the project?
