I'll never hear the end of it.
(to have to listen for a long time to talk about something embarrassing or annoying/something that you say which means that someone will continue to talk about something they have achieved for a long time and in an annoying way/used to say that someone will keep talking about something for a long time)
- If she wins you know we'll never hear the end of it.
- If you don't send your aunt a thank-you letter, you'll never hear the end of it from your mother!
- If my Mum finds out, I'll never hear the end of it.
- If we don't get her a dog we'll never hear the end of it.
- If it turns out that he's right, we'll never hear the end of it.
