If I could buy them, I would be on cloud nine!
- "be on cloud nine" で「スッゴク幸せ(dreamy happy)」という意味。
- For a few days after I heard I'd got the job, I was on cloud nine.
- The first time she kissed me, I was on cloud nine for the whole day.
- He was on cloud nine after winning the marathon.
- When the boss announced my promotion, I was on cloud nine!
- Emma passed her exam last week so she is on cloud nine. I have never seen her so happy.
- "be in seventh heaven"とも。
- Since they got married they've been in seventh heaven.
- When he asked me to marry him, I was in seventh heaven.
- Every time she wins a match she's in seventh heaven!
If I could have bought them, I would have been cloud nine" が正しい表現だったかなと思う。
