• "stay put" は「ひと場所にとどまって動かずにいる／動かずにじっとしている」という意味（not to move／ to stay where one is／to remain in one place and not move／to stay where you are／ to not move or go anywhere）。
• ここでの put はMerriamのオンライン英英ではそもそも adjective に分類されているんだけど、動詞 put の過去分詞形で形容詞用法と考えるのが一般的みたいだ。
